Week Two (June 21st – 25th): Meteorology
Happy First Day of Summer (6/21)! It’s time to explore hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms, and more. We will make our own ‘tornadoes’ and track our ‘weather patterns.’

Time to travel to outer space in our ‘space ships.’ We will explore the world beyond the capabilities of our natural eye-sight, explore the complexities of gravity, and make our own solar system models.
Week Four (July 5th – July 9th): Entomology
Creepy crawly insects. Flying up in the sky or crawling low to the ground, insects are all around & we will learn what makes them ‘buzz.’
Week Five (July 12th – July 16th): Earth Science
Earthquakes, volcanoes, sedimentary rocks, fossils and more. We will make our own volcanoes and crystal formations.

From the rainforest to the Great Barrier Reef, we will be exploring the various ecosystems and create our own garden ‘plots.’
Week Seven (July 26th – July 30th): Technology
Living in the age of computers…what would we do without electricity? We will explore the use of ‘simple machines’ and create our own ‘telephones.’

We are so excited to welcome Senora Traci back to our CH Summer Camp! She will be helping us learn all about the ‘human body.’
