Ms. Lori Cusick Niedenzu, After School Program Coordinator
My Family: Married to Philipp. We have two adult daughters: Eve (23) just graduated from UD; Genevieve (21) beginning her final year at UD; and our seven year old Silky Terrier, Jake (the love of my life), and we live in Pike Creek
My Education: I graduated from college in 1989 with a BS in Child Development, and have been teaching ever since! I came to love Montessori through my children and completed my Early Childhood Certification 2007, and completed my Montessori Toddler Training in 2009 before joining CHMS in 2014.
My Favorites: I am a certified indoor cycling (Spinning) instructor and have taught at Kennett Area YMCA since 2010; I also have achieved certification in Kettle Bells, Pilates, HIIT, and Punk Rope – So Fun! At school, I find all areas of the Montessori classroom interesting and valuable. My most favorite Montessori experience is the observation of the child discovering their abilities to do for themselves, developing their independence from adult assistance.

My Favorites: I am a huge community activist and serve on the committee in the 10th District. My goal is to get women in our area to go out and vote. I enjoy the binomial and trinomial puzzles.
